The Pleasure Suite Founding Campaign Terms

Thank you for helping us build The Pleasure Suite. Founding contributions are helping us create a dedicated space for connection, community, learning, celebration, play, and pleasure.

Because you're supporting something we're still in the process of creating, we want to be clear about what you can expect.

Founding Contributions & Tiers

Founding rewards are cumulative. Unless otherwise noted, each tier includes the rewards from the tiers below it.

Qualifying contributions made by the same supporter during the campaign accumulate toward higher founding tiers. If your total qualifying contributions reach a new tier, your status will automatically be upgraded and you'll receive the additional rewards associated with that tier.

Physical gifts and other rewards you've already earned will not be duplicated when you upgrade.

A founding tier may be purchased as a gift for another person. The recipient must be identified as the supporter so their contribution, recognition, and rewards can be associated with them.

Once a founding tier has been assigned to a supporter, its individual benefits are nontransferable unless specifically stated otherwise.

Supporters may decline any physical gift or experience without affecting their founding tier or recognition.

Founding rewards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Membership & Founders Rate

A founding contribution does not include membership in The Pleasure Suite and does not guarantee membership.

Membership eligibility, application requirements, community standards, event admission requirements, and other participation requirements remain separate from financial support of the campaign.

Where a founding tier includes a Founders Rate lock, the lock begins on The Pleasure Suite's official opening date.

The supporter must be eligible for membership and maintain continuous active membership to retain the locked rate. If membership lapses, the Founders Rate lock ends.

If a supporter is not eligible for membership or chooses not to become or remain a member, the Founders Rate benefit has no cash or replacement value.

Physical Gifts

Physical founding gifts are available for local pickup only. Shipping is not included and supporters who do not live locally are responsible for arranging pickup.

Another person may pick up a gift on a supporter's behalf.

We'll contact supporters when their gifts are ready and provide pickup instructions. Gifts must be collected within 90 days of that notification. Gifts that have not been collected or otherwise arranged for within that period will be considered forfeited.

For gifts that require a selection, such as robes, we'll contact eligible supporters after purchase with available styles, sizing information, and instructions for making their selection.

Specific products, styles, sizing, materials, packaging, and other details may vary based on availability. If a planned item becomes unavailable, The Pleasure Suite may provide an equivalent alternative that preserves the spirit and approximate value of the original reward.

Founders Art Wall

Supporters at The Flame tier and above have the opportunity to participate in the permanent Founders Art Wall, a photographic art installation created from intimate details of our founders.

Participation is entirely optional.

Purchasing a qualifying founding tier is not consent to be photographed or included in the installation.

Eligible supporters will receive additional information and a separate opportunity to opt in. Photography, use of images, privacy, recognition, and consent will be addressed before participation.

Declining to participate does not affect any other founding rewards.

Preview Night & Founding Experiences

Experiences connected to the physical Suite will take place after the Suite opens. We are not promising a specific opening date or fulfillment date for opening-dependent experiences.

Invitations and scheduling information will be provided directly to eligible supporters as plans and space availability allow.

Unless otherwise specified, founding experiences are nontransferable and have no cash or replacement value if the supporter chooses not to participate.

All events and experiences remain subject to applicable Pleasure Suite membership or eligibility requirements, community standards, consent policies, safety requirements, capacity limits, and other operational requirements.

Velvet Circle Pleasure Table

Velvet Circle supporters receive an invitation for one to an exclusive Pleasure Table hosted by the founders.

We anticipate offering two dates from which eligible supporters can choose. Dates and details will be shared after the opening timeline is sufficiently clear.

The invitation is nontransferable.

Patron Pieces

Patron supporters will have a significant furnishing, artwork, fixture, or design element within The Pleasure Suite dedicated in recognition of their patronage.

Specific Patron Pieces will be matched with supporters as the final design of the Suite develops. Patrons will have an opportunity to share preferences, while The Pleasure Suite will make the final determination regarding the piece, design, placement, and recognition.

All Patron Pieces must work within the final design, available space, budget, lease requirements, safety and accessibility considerations, and operational needs of The Pleasure Suite.

Patrons may choose not to have their name displayed without giving up the dedication associated with their support.

Visionary Collaboration & Private Pleasure Table

Visionary supporters will have the opportunity to work directly with the founders to co-create a lasting element of The Pleasure Suite.

The collaboration may take the form of an experience, installation, artwork, furnishing, design feature, or another contribution developed together.

We'll work collaboratively to develop the idea, but The Pleasure Suite retains final approval over the concept, design, scope, cost, placement, execution, and ongoing use.

Collaborations must be reasonable in scope for the founding tier and must fit the space, brand, budget, lease terms, safety and accessibility requirements, and operational needs of The Pleasure Suite. If an initial idea isn't feasible, we'll work together to identify an appropriate alternative.

Visionary supporters also receive a private Pleasure Table for themselves and up to 11 guests.

The private Pleasure Table must be scheduled within 12 months of The Pleasure Suite's official opening and is subject to space and founder availability. The experience is nontransferable.

The Muse: The Suite Is Yours

Muse supporters receive The Suite Is Yours, an exclusive private evening at The Pleasure Suite for the supporter and their friends, for up to 45 people.

We'll work directly with the Muse to create and host the gathering. The experience includes use of the space, planning, hosting, food and drinks, and an experience consistent in scope and style with the themed events guests have come to expect from The Pleasure Suite.

Requests substantially outside that scope may involve additional costs paid by the supporter and will be agreed upon before the event.

The Suite Is Yours must be scheduled within 12 months of The Pleasure Suite's official opening and is subject to space and founder availability.

The experience may be transferred to another eligible Pleasure Suite member, subject to the same requirements and conditions.

Recognition

We may recognize founding supporters in campaign communications, at founding events, during Preview Night, or through other acknowledgements of the people who helped make The Pleasure Suite possible.

Supporters can tell us whether they would like to be publicly recognized and what name or names they would like us to use.

Supporters who choose to remain anonymous will not be publicly identified as founding supporters.

Permanent recognition associated with Patron Pieces or collaborative installations will be discussed directly with the applicable supporters before it is created.

Opening the Pleasure Suite

Founding contributions are helping us create a permanent Pleasure Suite. We are actively working toward opening that space, but creating a physical venue involves leases, permitting, construction, vendors, regulatory requirements, financing, and other circumstances that may be outside our control.

We are therefore not promising a specific opening date.

Supporting the founding campaign means helping us take on the work and risk required to make the Suite possible. Opening a permanent Pleasure Suite is our goal, but it is not guaranteed.

If the specific space or location we're pursuing changes, founding support and rewards will carry forward to another permanent Pleasure Suite location.

If circumstances ultimately prevent a permanent Pleasure Suite from opening, contributions will not be refunded and rewards that depend upon the existence of a physical Suite may not be able to be fulfilled.

We'll keep founding supporters informed about meaningful developments through campaign updates.

Changes to Rewards

We've designed these rewards carefully and intend to fulfill them as described.

Because we're building something that does not yet exist in its final form, details may evolve. If circumstances require us to modify a reward, we'll make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative that preserves the spirit and approximate value of the original.

Refunds

Founding contributions are final and nonrefundable.

This includes changes to the anticipated opening timeline, changes in location, a supporter's inability to participate in an experience or collect a reward, changes in membership eligibility or status, or circumstances that ultimately prevent The Pleasure Suite from opening.
